DOCTORS CHOICE PLACEMENT SERVICES, INC. is seeking an Orthopedic Surgery Physician for a full-time opportunity in the New York City metro area and northern New Jersey.

The role involves traveling between Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, Bronx, Staten Island, and northern NJ to treat patients at multiple locations. The ideal candidate will hold current, unrestricted medical licenses in NY and NJ and will provide consults, develop and document treatment plans, and assume full professional

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted license to practice medicine in NY and NJ.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultation to professional staff concerning clinical assessment findings and patient treatment plans.
• Develop, implement, and document treatment plans for an assigned caseload of patients, including prompt completion of clinical reminders.
• Functions independently as a member of Medical Group, with full clinical privileges.
• Assumes complete professional responsibility for her/her clinical assessment findings, patient care decisions and documentation.
• Complies with CPRS documentation procedures, including timeliness of documentation and proper patient checkout procedures.
• Serves as a clinical leader in emergencies.
• Provides care that is compassionate, appropriate and effective for health problems and promotes good health.
• Manage overall patient care regarding lifestyle and development issues.
• Emphasize preventative care and disease management.

Orthopedic Surgery Physician - FullTime

Job Description: Busy musculoskeletal outpatient facility dedicated to providing exceptional multifaceted musculoskeletal treatment for a wide range of patient conditions. Our ideal candidate will be required to do some traveling between our multiple locations throughout the NYC metro area (Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, Bronx, and Staten Island) and northern New Jersey to treat patients.
