Ortho Surgery Generalist opening - Kinston, NC

Located 30 miles to Greenville

Position Details

• Full-time, permanent

• Open to experienced physicians or exemplary new grads
• Also open to Total Joint Fellows
• 1:3 Call
• Surgeons provide expert orthopedic care using the most advanced procedures in sports medicine, joint replacement, fracture care, and foot and ankle surgery

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients and analyze data to determine needs and treatment goals
• Evaluate and treat orthopedic conditions including fractures, tendon/muscle/ligament damage, osteoarthritis, etc.
• Collaborate with other specialists as needed
• Perform orthopedic surgeries
• Maintain detailed medical records using Epic EMR
• Participate in hospital and Surgery Center cases
• Educate patients and families
• Support local athletic teams and events
• Participate in hospital call and practice call rotations
