DOCTORS CHOICE PLACEMENT SERVICES, INC. is assisting Indiana-based orthopedic surgery practice between Louisville and Cincinnati in recruiting a full-time surgeon. The position offers a $550,000 base pay with productivity bonuses, a $50,000 sign-on for a 3-year commitment, and relocation assistance of $10,000.

You will join a multi-location system with 6 ORs, on-site lab/x-ray, and EMR/MediTech. Requirements include Board Certification or Board Eligibility and ACLS certification.

Qualifications

• Board Certification or Board Eligibility; ACLS certification required.
• Active medical license in good standing and ability to obtain licensure in Indiana.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient orthopedic care with on-call responsibilities.
• Participate in the Total Joint Program and sports medicine services.
• Care for trauma cases and coordinate with hospital staff.
• Work within 4-day work week (four 10-hour days) and on-call 1:3 for clinic, rounds, admissions, and ER.

New Orthopedic Surgery Opportunity in Indiana between Louisville & Cincinnati

Full-time employment opportunity

• Base Pay (1-year guarantee) $550,000
• Productivity-Bonus Compensation for RVU's in excess of agreed threshold Available
• Sign-On Bonus $50,000 for 3-year commitment
• Work RVU Conversion Rate $70
• Call Coverage: 1 in 3
• Vacation Time 4 weeks for the first 3 years & 5 weeks thereafter
• CME Hours (after first year of employment) 40 hours of CME time off per year
• CME & Dues Allowance (after first year of employment) $4,000 per contract year
• Relocation Assistance, Will live within 30 minutes response time when on call, per Medical Staff by-Laws, $10,000

• Hospital pays for nursing/reception staff salaries & benefits, and manages staffing issues for the physician so that you can focus on seeing patients.
• General Orthopedic practice providing both inpatient & outpatient service with call
• Major trauma is sent out

• Four (4) day work week(Four ten hour day)/ Office suite is adjacent to the hospital
• Call 1:3 - participate in call coverage for clinic, Hospital rounding, admissions, ER consults, and call

• Sports medicine (including a variety of joint and muscular injuries). Athletic trainers provide dedicated services to many area high schools. We also care for weekend warriors, Fracture care, Joint replacement and reconstruction, Arthroscopic procedures, Arthritis problems, Joint problems and injuries (shoulders, knees, hips, elbows and ankles), Pediatric care, Ligament and tendon care (Achilles tendons, wrists, ankles, knees and shoulders)
• We have 6 ORs and one cysto room, we run 4 every day and hold one for OB
• We have 25 primary care providers spread across seven locations that refer back to our orthopedic surgery team
• Lab and x-ray services on site
• Full EMR-Meditech and LSS, Meditech will be transitioning to Epic in the future
