Job summary

Live Well Homecare Agency, LLC is seeking a registered nurse to provide direct patient care on a specialized orthopedic/neurologic unit. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care within nursing standards, promoting patient and family-centered care.

Qualifications include an active RN license; while no experience is required, 2+ years of orthopedic or medical-surgical experience is preferred. You will be part of an interdisciplinary team focused on safety, education, and professional

Qualifications

• Orthopedics and/or medical-surgical experience is advantageous.

Job description

Provides direct patient care on an orthopedics unit, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards.

• Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medications.
• Participates in safety, quality, and regulatory activities, and engages in ongoing professional development.
• Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans, ensuring effective communication across care teams.
• Assesses physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values, cultural, and spiritual considerations.
• Works in a safety-sensitive role, maintaining constant alertness.
