Job summary

Premier Orthopaedics in partnership with Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our West Chester and Kennett Square locations. The role supports providers with patient care, prepares exam rooms, takes vitals, and assists with wound care and casting, while maintaining HIPAA and EMR accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant training program preferred.
• BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for visits: rooming, vitals, and intake paperwork.
• Assist with cast and wound care, and remove sutures/staples.
• Enter data into the EMR and maintain exam room cleanliness.
• Coordinate with providers and handle patient forms and test results.
• Respond to voicemails within 24 business hours.
