Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
• Graduate of Medical Assistant program with externship (160 hours) or one year clinical experience.
• LPN/EMT with relevant clinical background acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam room and prepare for examination.
• Take vital signs and document in EHR.
• Prepare and assist with examinations and procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines as ordered and document in EHR.
• Enter orders and discharge instructions as directed.
• Maintain clean and stocked examination/treatment rooms.
