Job summary

Loma Linda University Health (LLUH) Colton orthopedic department seeks a Medical Assistant to perform patient-centered tasks from check-in to check-out across LLUHC sites, under supervision of physicians and licensed staff. You will support front and back office workflows, ensuring accurate EMR documentation and patient flow.

Requirements include completion of a credentialed MA program, 1 year clinical MA experience (2 years preferred), and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Proof of completion required from a credentialed or nationally recognized Medical Assistant program.
• Minimum of 1 year clinical MA experience, 2 years preferred.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required.
• California Driver's License valid and current.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient-oriented procedures from check-in to check-out at LLUHC sites.
• Provide MA coverage to LLUHC Departments as requested.
• Maintain professionalism and comply with department policies.
• Support front and back office workflows and EMR documentation.
