Job summary

Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the Orthopedics unit to provide patient care 36 hours per week. The role involves days and nights, working 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, with supervision by licensed personnel and RN oversight.

Education requires a high school diploma or GED; an accredited LPN program graduate with Missouri licensure and BLS certification is expected. A sign-on bonus of up to $2,000 is available for eligible caregivers.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Current LPN license in Missouri and maintainable per State Board requirements.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process under licensed supervision.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments while upholding patient rights and confidentiality.
• Maintain Mercy Service Standards in all duties.
