Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the Orthopedics department at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, Missouri.

This full-time position (36 hours/week) includes a Day/Night rotate shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with a sign-on bonus up to $2,000 for caregivers. Responsibilities include applying the nursing process, coordinating patient care with other departments, and upholding patient rights and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Must hold and maintain a current LPN license in Missouri and meet all State Board of Nursing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care under supervision.
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
