SSM Health in Bridgeton, MO is seeking a Medical Assistant/MA to support the Orthopedics department. In a fast-paced clinic, you will assist with examinations, patient prep, vitals, and basic clerical tasks under supervision of a nurse or provider.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, BLS HCP, and CMA/CCMA or related MA certifications where applicable. This is a day shift, 40 hours per week, with no weekends.

Formación

• High school diploma or 10 years of work experience.
• Wisconsin-specific path for MA certification considered if applicable.
• BLS HealthCare Provider certification is required.
• Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) or CMA, or CMAC/AMCA/AMCA variants accepted as alternative.
• Multiple MA certifications listed by State locations may be considered.

Responsabilidades

• Assists with treatments ordered by provider under supervision.
• Interviews patients, measures vital signs, and records information.
• Performs basic clerical duties including phone calls, scheduling, and filing.
• Maintains supply stock and clean environment.
• Documents encounters and transcribes orders as directed by provider.
• Works with alertness and safety in clinic.
