Korn Ferry has partnered with a client to recruit an Orthopedic Trauma Surgicalist for a full-time role supporting a new trauma service in Mesa, Phoenix, Arizona.

The position offers a true surgicalist model focused exclusively on acute, complex trauma, with a block schedule (7-on/7-off or 10-on/10-off) and daytime APP coverage. Multiple openings are available across the Phoenix area, including Mesa, with highly competitive compensation based on schedule and productivity.

Qualifications

• Fellowship-trained orthopedic trauma surgeon.
• Experience in high-acuity trauma environments preferred.
• Team-oriented, patient-first approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide acute surgical management for complex orthopedic trauma.
• Perform operative care and hospital consults during scheduled blocks.
• Attend trauma follow-up clinics as scheduled; coordinate with APPs.

Korn Ferry has partnered with our client for the role, Orthopedic Trauma Surgicalist | Phoenix, Arizona

A high-acuity orthopedic trauma program in the Phoenix area is seeking a fellowship-trained Orthopedic Trauma Surgicalist for a full-time role supporting the launch of a new trauma service in Mesa.

This is a true surgicalist model designed for surgeons who want to focus their practice exclusively on acute, complex orthopedic trauma.

Position highlights:

• Full-time block schedule, can be 7-on/7-off or 10-on/10-off
• Acute orthopedic trauma, including complex pelvis and acetabulum cases
• One surgeon covers the service throughout their scheduled block, with hospital consults, operative care, and two trauma follow-up clinic mornings per week
• Daytime APP coverage from approximately 6:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m., seven days per week
• High-acuity trauma environment with meaningful surgical volume
• Holidays shared across the team, with per-diem coverage support available
• No non-compete and opportunities for internal moonlighting
• Multiple full-time openings available across the Phoenix area, including an immediate need in Mesa
• Highly competitive compensation with income potential based on schedule and productivity
