Job summary

MountainView Medical Group in Las Cruces, New Mexico seeks an Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join a well-established practice affiliated with MountainView Regional Medical Center. Board-eligible or board-certified with trauma fellowship training is preferred to serve a high-demand patient base.

Responsibilities

Employed, full-time, well-respected practice
Join 5 physicians and 2 APPs (1 current Traumatologist)
Anticipated call 1:4 covering a single hospital
Level III trauma 22-bed ED (48,000 ED visits in 2025)
168-bed hospital with 8 modern OR suites, dedicated blocks, MAKO availability, high-definition fluoroscopy, efficient and tenured OR team with First Assist, and 24/7 anesthesia coverage
Athena EMR + Suki AI scribe technology
Fully-equipped clinic with experienced support team; clinic adjacent to medical center
Established referral network supported by 18 physician clinics, a 10-bed freestanding ED, 3 urgent care centers, and dedicated outreach/marketing support
Robust multidisciplinary support such as IP/OP therapy, MSK radiologists, Infusion therapy, Interventional Pain Management, PM&R, and athletic partnerships with New Mexico State University.
