Job summary

Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, Maine seeks an additional BC/BE orthopedic trauma surgeon to join our outstanding trauma team. A fellowship in orthopedic trauma is required, and new graduates are welcome to apply.

The surgeons are supported by a strong trauma service, allied health professionals, and extensive OR coverage seven days a week with PA/NP support. Compensation includes a base salary of $719,000 per year with potential additional earnings based on productivity.

Qualifications

• Board certification in orthopedic trauma or BE/BC status required.
• Fellowship in orthopedic trauma is required.

Responsibilities

• Join a four-person orthopedic trauma and acute care team with on-site coverage.
• Provide orthopedic trauma surgery and collaborate with a general trauma service.
• Operate in a dedicated Orthopedic Trauma OR 7 days a week with PA/NP coverage.
