Job summary

Celebration Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Institute seeks a board-certified Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join its Level II Trauma Center. You will provide surgical and non-surgical trauma care and participate in multidisciplinary teams, call rotations, and education of residents.

The ideal candidate has fellowship training in Orthopedic Trauma, Florida license, and ATLS certification, with a strong focus on quality and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certification/Eligibility in Orthopedic Trauma Surgery.
• Fellowship training in Orthopedic Trauma.
• Current Florida medical license.
• ATLS certification (Instructor certification preferred).
• Strong clinical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide surgical and non-surgical care for patients with traumatic injuries.
• Participate in orthopedic trauma surgery call rotation.
• Perform life-saving procedures in high-acuity situations.
• Collaborate with specialists in critical care, orthopedic trauma, neurosurgery, and emergency medicine.
• Participate in trauma quality improvement programs and registry activities.
• Contribute to resident and medical student education (if academic center).
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR.

Celebration Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Institute is seeking a highly skilled and board-certified Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join our Level II Trauma Center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in orthopedic trauma, orthopedic surgery, and critical care, and be committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide surgical and non-surgical care for patients with traumatic injuries

Participate in orthopedic trauma surgery call rotation

Rotating schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
