Dignity Health Medical Group in Phoenix, AZ seeks an Orthopedic Trauma Advanced Practitioner (NP or PA) to support acute care orthopedic trauma patients. You will participate in 24-hour first-call coverage with 10 PAs, assist surgeries, manage inpatient rounds, and coordinate multidisciplinary care to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
This role includes benefits, CME allowance, tail malpractice coverage, relocation assistance, and employer retirement matching.
Competenze
- PA-C with AZ license and NCCPA certification.
- DEA registration required.
- MSN for NP with active CA or AZ RN license and AZ NP certifications.
- Must meet credentialing criteria for medical staff.
Mansioni
- Provide preoperative assessments, perioperative support and postoperative care.
- Participate in 24-hour Orthopedic First Call coverage with the team.
- Assist in orthopedic surgeries and conduct inpatient rounds.
- Coordinate interdisciplinary care with Medical and Trauma teams.
- Manage ER consultations, diagnose, develop treatment plans and order tests.
- Prescribe medications and coordinate physical therapy.
