Job summary

Lovelace Medical Group Orthopedics in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a fellowship-trained Total Joint Orthopedic Surgeon to join our established team. The ideal candidate will lead hip and knee arthroplasty, both primary and revision, in a multidisciplinary environment with excellent clinical support.

Clinic hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday–Friday, with minimal ER call and strong APP collaboration. Robotic-assisted surgery technology and EPIC EMR are available to support outstanding patient care.

Qualifications

• Fellowship-trained Total Joint Orthopedic Surgeon with hip/knee arthroplasty expertise.
• Strong commitment to high-quality patient care and teamwork.
• Willing to work in a multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive hip and knee replacement care including primary and revision arthroplasty.
• Collaborate with nurses, APPs, and schedulers to optimize patient flow.
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and care planning.

Opportunity Highlights

• Fellowship-trained Total Joint Orthopedic Surgeon to provide comprehensive care for patients requiring hip and knee replacement procedures. The ideal candidate will have expertise in primary and revision total joint arthroplasty, a commitment to high-quality patient care, and a collaborative approach to working within a multidisciplinary team.

• Join a collaborative orthopedic group of:
  • 5 Physicians
  • 3 Nurse Practitioners
  • 2 Physician Assistants
• Monday through Friday schedule
• Clinic hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Clinic located adjacent to the hospital, within walking distance
• Expected patient volume: 20 to 25 patients per day
• EPIC electronic medical record system
• Ambience AI Scribe technology available
• Minimal emergency room call expectations
• Dedicated APP support
