Job summary

NEBH is seeking an experienced RN for the 4 East Orthopedic Telemetry Unit. You will provide direct patient care for postoperative orthopedic patients, develop care plans, and collaborate with the care team to coordinate admissions, transfers and discharges.

Responsibilities include administering medications, documenting patient status, and upholding HIPAA and infection control standards in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure and eligibility
• Experience in acute care or telemetry settings preferred
• Knowledge of HIPAA and patient privacy requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on an orthopedic telemetry unit to selected patient groups
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in line with current nursing standards
• Document and monitor patient status, medications, and outcomes in medical records
• Collaborate with care team to coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges
• Maintain infection control practices and ensure patient safety at all times
