Job summary

Elliot Orthopaedics, a department of Elliot Hospital, seeks an Orthopedic Technologist to join the team in Stratham with potential to cover Hooksett and Manchester locations as needed. The role involves assisting in the orthopaedic room, operating room, and inpatient units under physician orders.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and formal orthopedic training or ASOP certification within 3 months; clinical experience preferred and national certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Orthopedic Technologist role requires direct and indirect skilled orthopedic care.
• Must understand usage of orthopedic equipment and devices.
• Preference for NBOT or ASOP certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect orthopedic care per physician orders.
• Instruct patients and families on equipment usage.
• Assist in orthopaedic room, inpatient units and/or operating room.
• Take physician orders verbally only in emergencies.
• Apply fracture braces per physician order.
• Assist in office daily functions including room turnover, data entry, scheduling and insurance paperwork.
• Collaborate with medical staff and administration to support patient care.

Education

High School diploma or equivalent

Formal Orthopedic training program or ASOP certification (within 3 months)
