Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of formal Orthopedic training program or ASOP certification within 3 months.
• NBOT certification or ASOP licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply, adjust, maintain and remove orthopedic equipment and appliances.
• Instruct patients and families on proper use of equipment.
• Assist medical staff in the orthopaedic room, inpatient units and operating room.
• Handle daily office tasks such as data entry and appointment scheduling as needed.
