Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a qualified orthopedic support professional to deliver direct pediatric orthopedic care. You will partner with the healthcare team to assess, prioritize, and provide high-quality care across the clinic.

Candidates with pediatric orthopedic experience and BLS certification are preferred; CMA and Orthopedic Technician certifications are advantages. Join our team to contribute to comprehensive pediatric care in a busy clinic.

Qualifications

• 1+ year pediatric orthopedic experience (preferred).
• High School diploma or GED/HSED required.
• Biology or physics coursework preferred.
• BLS-Basic Life Support within 90 days required.
• CMA-Certified Medical Assistant preferred.
• Orthopedic Technician Certification preferred.

Job description

• Functions with demonstrated expertise in the delivery of direct Orthopedic care to children
• Partners with healthcare team and assesses, prioritizes and provides care to clinic patient population
• Meets specific requirements, goals, and competencies established within the Orthopedic clinic

Requirements

• 1+ years pediatric experience in orthopedics with proven competency in all relevant areas of practice preferred
• High School graduate or Certificate of General Educational Development (GED) or High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED) required
• Course work in biology or physics preferred
• BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/National Safety Council within 90 Days required
• CMA-Certified Medical Assistant - American Association of Medical Assistants preferred
• ORTHO-Orthopedic Technician - National Board for Certification of Orthopedic Technologists, Inc. preferred
