Job summary

The Center for Sports Medicine & Orthopaedics in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for a full-time position. This role supports physicians by handling instrumentation and maintaining instrument readiness within a busy ambulatory surgery environment.

Requirements include completion of an accredited Surgical Technology Program, BLS certification, and NBSTSA Surgical Technologist Certification. No on-call nights or holidays are required.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology Program or equivalent.
• BLS Certification required.
• NBSTSA Surgical Technologist Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with instrumentation of surgical interventions.
• Monitor PAR levels of all instruments and supplies.
• Clean and sterilize all surgical instruments; participate in meetings and improvement activities.
