This 30-bed med-surg unit cares for post-surgical orthopedic patients and supports progression to OR/PACU within 12–18 months. Qualifications

• Graduation from a school of professional nursing is required.
• One year of nursing experience preferred for Surgical Services.
• Current RN licensure and BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent clinical nursing care per professional standards.
• Coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process.
• Participate in education, evaluation, and planning of care with interdisciplinary team.
• Demonstrate leadership to support unit goals and safe care.
• Assess and plan for discharge needs and family education.
