AMN Healthcare is seeking an Orthopedic Surgery Physician for locum tenens coverage in Michigan. The assignment features clinic hours, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with a Monday/Wednesday schedule and OR days Tue/Thu, plus 24-hour on-call shifts.

Responsibilities include full-scope orthopedic surgery in both inpatient and outpatient settings, with preference for trauma experience. Credentialing is around 30 days; Epic with Dragon dictation is used for documentation.

• Board certification or eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
• BLS certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Full-scope orthopedic surgery in both inpatient and outpatient settings, including trauma cases.
• Manage musculoskeletal trauma, elective surgeries, visits, injections, and emergent cases.
• Participate in rounds, consults, and ED follow-ups with a multidisciplinary team.
• Adhere to hospital policies and participate in 24-hour call shifts as scheduled.

Orthopedic Surgery Physician

StartDate: ASAP Pay Rate: $254.14 - $275.10

This facility is seeking an Orthopedic Surgery Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: Clinic hours are 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, office days are typically Monday/Wednesday and OR days are Tuesday/Thursday (flexible). Call coverage is 10-11 days per month with 24-hour call shifts from 7a-a
• Practice Setting: Both inpatient and outpatient, Level II Trauma
• Types of Cases: Full scope Orthopedic Surgery with preference for trauma experience. Includes musculoskeletal trauma, elective orthopedic surgeries, new and established patient visits, injections, procedures, emergency department follow-ups, consults, rounding, and emergent surgeries
• Credentialing Timeframe: 30 days
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR):Epic with Dragon dictation.
• Certifications Required: Board Certified (or legitimately Board Eligible), Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Licensure Required: Active Michigan license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC)
