Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Health System invites applications for an Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) in Orthopedic Surgery II at Martin Hospital South. The role includes OR first assist, clinic procedures such as injections and aspirations, and pre/postoperative care with hospital rounds and on-call duties.

Board-certified APRN/PA with active license expected; new graduates welcome. Schedule 8:00am-5:00pm, Days + Call; emphasis on health promotion and patient-centered care within a multidisciplinary

Qualifications

• APRN or PA credential and state licensure.
• MSN required upon hire or within 3 years of hire for external/internal hires moving to APRN role.
• Graduate of an accredited APRN or PA program.
• BLS/ACLS or PALS certifications as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Take comprehensive histories and perform physical examinations; order tests and interpret results.
• Assist in the OR as first assistant and perform clinic procedures such as joint injections/aspirations.
• Provide hospital consultations, rounds and participate in on-call rotation.
• Collaborate with nursing, physicians and other care team members to ensure quality patient care.
• Coordinate discharge planning and continuity of care with multidisciplinary teams.
• Support professional development and dissemination of knowledge through teaching.
