Qualifications

• 24hr call shifts with beeper call and 20-minute response time
• Emergency department orthopaedic surgery call coverage
• Fractures, sports injuries, and general orthopaedic cases
• Arthroscopy and total joint replacement skills required
• Joint revision or repair – shoulder, hip and knee required

Responsibilities

• Cover 24hr orthopaedic on-call shifts in the emergency department
• See approximately 1–2 patients per call shift
• Provide orthopaedic call coverage for fractures and sports injuries
• Utilize arthroscopy and total joint replacement techniques as needed
• Coordinate joint revision or repair procedures when required
