Job summary

Comunidade Metodista in Northwest Indiana near Chicago is seeking a Board Certified/Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon for a permanent full-time position in Hobart/Valparaiso. The role encompasses inpatient and outpatient care with a Monday–Friday schedule and 1:6 call.

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Indiana medical license or eligibility to obtain.
• DEA, CSR, and CE/certifications as required.
• EMR proficiency with Epic.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive orthopedic surgical care in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Provide consultations, admissions, and follow-up care for orthopedic patients.
• Collaborate with nurse practitioners, specialists, and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives across the health system.
• Contribute to practice development and support system growth.
