Job summary

Laredo Physicians Group and Doctors Hospital of Laredo are seeking a full-time Orthopedic Surgeon in Laredo, Texas. This hospital-employed position offers a high-volume surgical program with shared call and competitive compensation in a state-of-the-art facility supported by UHS.

Responsibilities include comprehensive orthopedic care, collaboration with a skilled team, and efficient use of Cerner EMR with a strong emphasis on quality patient outcomes. Relocation and sign-on options are available.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in orthopedic surgery
• Active Texas medical license or ability to obtain Texas licensure
• Spanish language skills a plus not required

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive orthopedic care to a diverse border community.
• Collaborate with experienced orthopedic surgeons and a dedicated team.
• Navigate a high-volume, collaborative practice with a quality-focused approach.
• Document all patient care using Cerner EMR.
• Participate in shared call rotation with peers
