Job summary

Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, West Virginia seeks an employed general orthopedic surgeon to join a growing, high-volume practice with strong referral base and access to hospital resources and technology.

The role offers flexible weekday office scheduling and OR block scheduling; interest in trauma and joints is preferred. You will provide comprehensive surgical care and coordinate with hospital staff and referring providers.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Board certification or eligibility in orthopedic surgery.
• West Virginia medical license.
• Completion of an orthopedic surgery residency.

Responsibilities

• Provide general orthopedic surgical care to patients.
• Manage a high-volume patient practice.
• Perform orthopedic procedures using operating room block scheduling.
• Assess and treat orthopedic conditions, including trauma and joint-related conditions as applicable.
• Coordinate patient care with hospital staff and referring providers.
• Contribute to the growth of orthopedic services in the community.
