Job summary

Southwestern Michigan orthopedic practice seeks an Orthopedic Surgeon to join a collaborative team of surgeons and advanced practice providers. The physician will provide comprehensive surgical and nonsurgical orthopedic care, with opportunities to incorporate fellowship-trained expertise and specialized clinical interests into the practice.

Qualifications

• Board certification or board eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery is required.
• Current Michigan medical license or eligibility to obtain an unrestricted Michigan medical license is required.
• Fellowship training in an orthopedic subspecialty is welcomed but not required.
• Previous experience in orthopedic surgery is preferred; residents and fellows completing training are encouraged to apply.
• Strong surgical and clinical skills with ability to diagnose and treat a broad range of orthopedic injuries and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills to collaborate with surgeons, physician assistants, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.

• Evaluate musculoskeletal conditions and determine treatment plans.
• Perform surgical procedures as needed and coordinate follow-up care.
