Job summary

Zekai seeks board-certified orthopedic surgeons (MDs/DOs) to evaluate health AI models in a remote, part-time contract. You will read de-identified patient charts and judge AI answers to orthopedic questions, ensuring clinical accuracy and safety.

You will compare AI responses to patient charts, decide which answer is stronger, and write structured rationales focusing on clinical rigor, completeness, and clarity. Remote work is allowed, with immediate start for eligible US physicians.

Qualifications

• Board-certified orthopedic surgeon with U.S. credentials.
• Must hold an MD or DO from an accredited medical school and be ABMS/AOA certified in Orthopaedic Surgery.
• Active, unrestricted US medical license and completed residency; fellowship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated orthopedic surgery answers for clinical accuracy and safety.
• Compare AI responses against patient charts to determine stronger answer.
• Provide structured rationales on clinical rigor, completeness, and clarity.

Job description

our partner is hiring board-certified orthopedic surgeons (MDs and DOs) to evaluate health AI models in partnership with a leading AI lab.

You will read de-identified patient charts and judge AI answers to clinical questions in orthopedic surgery.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI answers to orthopedic surgery questions for clinical accuracy, safety and alignment with current standards of care
• Check each answer against the patient chart and decide which of two responses is stronger
• Write structured rationales on clinical rigor, completeness and clarity
• Flag errors that could compromise patient safety

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board certified in ABOS Orthopaedic Surgery through an ABMS member board or the AOA
• Active, unrestricted US medical license
• Residency complete, plus fellowship where your specialty requires one
• Currently practicing and seeing patients in the US, with at least 1 year of independent practice after training
• 3+ years of post-training experience strongly preferred
• Clear written communication and close attention to detail
