Freeman Health System's Orthopedics team at Freeman Hospital West is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for night shift coverage. This 36-hour weekly, full-time role focuses on postoperative care for adult orthopedic patients within a 29-bed unit.

You will collaborate with the medical plan of care to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centered recovery. The position requires Missouri RN licensure (compact state acceptable) and completion of required certifications within specified timelines.

Qualifications

• Missouri RN license current or compact state license; compact license must be in state of residence.
• ACLS certification preferred; ASLS preferred but not required.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers within 60 days; NIH Stroke Scale certification within 365 days.
• RN competency day annually by transcript due date.

Responsibilities

• Independently performs ongoing assessment of physical, emotional, clinical, and psychosocial needs; plans and implements interventions and evaluates effectiveness within the medical plan of care to ensure safe and effective care.
