Job summary

UVM Health in Burlington, VT seeks a Registered Nurse in Orthopedics (Miller 6) to deliver compassionate, high-quality post-operative care for a mixed orthopedic patient population in a fast-paced 32-bed unit. You will work with a collaborative team of RNs, LNAs, therapists, and case managers to support patient recovery and discharge planning.

Requirements include current Vermont RN licensure, ADN required with BSN preferred, relevant post-operative orthopedic experience, and the ability to grow

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont required.
• ADN required, BSN preferred
• Appropriate experience in specific clinical area. Varies by unit.

Responsibilities

• Care for a mixed population of orthopedic post-operative patients on Miller 6.
• Collaborate with RNs, LNAs, Unit Secretaries, Nursing students, Physical and Occupational Therapists, Case Managers, Quality partners, Medical Students, Residents and Attendings to provide Miller 6 patients with high-quality care.
