Job summary

Mercy South Orthopedics is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct patient care in the orthopedic unit. You will use the nursing process to assess and plan care, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, and monitor patient outcomes while upholding patient rights and privacy.

The role requires MO RN licensure (or compact) and a background in hospital settings; BLS certification is mandatory, with a sign-on bonus available for experienced and new graduates.

Qualifications

• Education: ADN, Diploma or BSN. Licensure in MO or compact.
• Must hold current RN license in Missouri or compact licensure.
• Hospital experience preferred depending on unit.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains accountability for care for assigned patients.
• Evaluates care effectiveness and coordinates with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of information.
• Performs duties consistent with Mercy mission and service standards.
