Job summary

The Hughston Clinic is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to support physicians and staff in producing high quality radiographs. You will apply radiographic technique, ensure patient safety, and document imaging views in the EMR.

Responsibilities include assisting with patient positioning, operating portable and C-Arm equipment, stocking supplies, training student technologists, and maintaining equipment. A two-year radiologic technology program and state licensure are preferred qualifications.

Qualifications

• Command of radiographic technique.
• Knowledge of radiographic requisitions and views.
• Working knowledge of HIPAA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographs following established procedures for patient care and safety.
• Assist patients in getting into the positions required for radiographs and help lift patients as needed.
• Operate portable and C-Arm equipment (if applicable).
• Stock necessary supplies and maintain equipment in working order.
• Provide training and supervision to student technologists.
• Assist with radiology requisitions and image views in the EMR.
