Job summary

Suncoast Orthopaedic Surgery & Sports Medicine, P.A. in Venice, FL seeks a Radiologic / X-Ray Technologist for an orthopedic specialty practice.

You will perform musculoskeletal X-rays, position patients, and work with orthopedic physicians to meet imaging needs in a fast-paced setting. The role requires ARRT certification and Florida license, strong anatomy and radiation safety knowledge, and excellent patient care.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification and current Florida State License required.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy and radiation safety required.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills required.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray imaging focused on the musculoskeletal system.
• Position patients accurately for clear, precise images.
• Collaborate with orthopedic physicians to meet imaging needs.
• Maintain accurate records and follow radiation safety protocols.
• Perform equipment quality checks and assist with protocol improvements.
