Job summary

Qualifications

• PA education, certification and licensure requirements must be met as listed.
• Graduate of an ARC-PA approved PA training program.
• Certification by NCCPA is required.
• Must be licensed or eligible for WV licensure.

Responsibilities

• Manages comprehensive and individualized care for orthopedic patients.
• Completes daily rounds; consults and/or pre-procedure evaluations.
• Performs diagnostic/therapeutic procedures and coordinates discharge planning.
• Collaborates with orthopedic faculty to order tests and coordinate care.
• Educates residents and nursing students in clinical settings.
• Documents plan of care and outcomes in the medical record.
