NYU Langone Hospital—Long Island seeks a Physician Assistant to join the Faculty Group Practice-Advanced Orthopedic Assoc in Patchogue, LI. The PA provides medical care, coordinates services, and supports research and education in orthopedics.

Minimum qualifications include a BA-PA, NYS PA license, NCCPA certification, and BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP and professional memberships are preferred. Full-time status with comprehensive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Requires Physician Assistant Bachelor’s Degree and NYS licensure.
• NCCPA board certification is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care to inpatient and outpatient populations.
• Educate patients and families to support healthy adjustments.
• Prescribe medications and therapies per NYS law and practice protocols.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team to implement care plans.
• Contribute to research protocols and data collection when applicable.
