Job summary

Bassett Medical Center is seeking a Physician Assistant to join the Orthopedics department in a dynamic academic health system in central New York. The role offers a salary range of $125,000–$150,000 with sign-on bonuses and additional incentives.

The PA will join a team of orthopedic surgeons and 13 Advanced Practice Clinicians, covering clinic, hospital floors, and the OR. After training, primary placement will be Cooperstown, NY, within Bassett Healthcare Network’s eight-county footprint.

Qualifications

• National certification as a Physician Assistant.
• New York medical license (or eligibility to obtain).
• BLS certification required.
• DEA required.

Responsibilities

• Clinic, hospital floor and OR coverage will be provided.
• Join an established group of Orthopedic Surgeons and 13 Advanced Practice Clinicians.
• After training period, primary location to be Cooperstown, NY.
• Practice within Bassett Healthcare Network, an integrated system delivering care across an 8-county region.
• New grads welcome with defined ramp up and training.
