Job summary

A leading orthopedic practice in Chicago is looking for a Physical Therapy Assistant. In this role, you will assist in developing treatment plans and provide hands-on therapy to patients. The ideal candidate will have an associate degree and at least one year of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting. You will also collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care, plus travel to different clinics as needed. Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an outpatient orthopedic physical therapy setting.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of physical therapy treatment plans.
• Provide hands-on therapy to patients as directed by the physical therapist.
• Document patient progress and communicate with the physical therapist regarding treatment plans and progress.
• Assist with patient education and home exercise programs.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Travel to different clinics and facilities as needed.
