Job summary

Hartford HealthCare's Orthopedic Associates of Hartford in Plainville seeks a Physical Therapist for outpatient orthopedics. You will provide PT services, collaborate with physicians, and develop individualized plans for a diverse patient population.

The role offers a 40-hour workweek, with clinic hours from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, and a chance to observe surgeries onsite while advancing clinical expertise within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Physical Therapy Program from an accredited American PT school.
• CT active or temporary license.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert physical therapy services to orthopedic outpatients.
• Collaborate with OAH physicians to plan and implement treatment plans.
• Treat sports injuries, musculoskeletal disorders, hand therapy, osteoporosis, and work-related injuries.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and observe surgeries onsite to enhance planning.

What You’ll Do

• Provide expert physical therapy services to patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, surgeries, and injuries.
• Collaborate closely with OAH physicians to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Treat a wide range of conditions including sports injuries, musculoskeletal disorders, hand therapy, dry needling, osteoporosis, and work-related injuries.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and contribute to a supportive, patient-first environment.

Qualifications
