Job summary

Orthopaedic Associates of Maine is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our growing team. You will evaluate patients, design personalized rehabilitation programs, and guide recovery to restore function and help them return to the activities they love.

In collaboration with physicians and the care team, you will apply therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, modalities, and education to reduce pain, improve mobility, and prevent future injury.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans to support recovery, mobility, and overall function.
• Deliver evidence-based physical therapy treatments using therapeutic exercise, stretching techniques, manual therapy, physical modalities, and specialized equipment to reduce pain, improve mobility, and prevent future injury.
• Promote healthy lifestyles and long-term wellness by helping patients improve strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, and overall physical function.
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team to ensure high-quality, coordinated patient care.
• Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and provide education to support successful recovery.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with organizational standards.
