Job summary

Genesis Orthopedics & Sports Medicine is seeking a motivated Physical Therapist to provide evidence-based care for a diverse orthopedic population in Chicago. The role emphasizes goniometry, manual therapy, and functional outcomes, with collaboration across physicians and therapists.

You will work within our supportive team, delivering patient-centered care and pursuing ongoing professional development, including emerging Blood Flow Restriction therapies.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Illinois.
• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT preferred).

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and functional assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans with physicians.
• Utilize a range of therapeutic techniques to reduce pain and improve function.
• Educate patients on conditions, goals, and injury prevention.
• Document progress using Epic Hyperspace EMR.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for patient-centered care.
• Supervise a 1:1 PT to PTA ratio.
• Pursue continuing education including Blood Flow Restriction Therapy.
