Job summary

Swedish Medical Group seeks a full-time Orthopedic Surgery physician assistant to join Swedish Orthopedics in the greater Seattle area. You will work with a collaborative team of orthopedic surgeons and advanced practice clinicians providing care across outpatient, inpatient, and surgical settings.

Primary focus on outpatient clinic and inpatient orthopedic care with a total joint arthroplasty emphasis, gradually expanding to operating room responsibilities and potential surgical first assist

Qualifications

• Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills.
• New graduates with orthopedic rotations are encouraged to apply; orthopedic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support outpatient clinic and inpatient orthopedic care for total joint arthroplasty.
• Assist in operating room responsibilities as practice evolves.
• Manage orthopedic patients across pre-op, post-op, and follow-up visits.
• Collaborate with surgeons and multidisciplinary care teams.
• Provide care across the continuum in collaboration with the orthopedic team.
