Qualifications

• Graduate from an ARC-PA accredited physician assistant program.
• NCCPA certified (may apply and interview if eligible).
• Transcripts from physician assistant program.
• 2 letters of recommendation.
• Current CV.
• Personal Statement.
• Texas PA license (or pending application).

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent and appropriate patient care as priority.
• Assist in improving patient care processes and protocols to maximize recovery.
• Work as a team with physicians, PAs, therapists, nurses, medical assistants, radiologic and surgical staff.
• Participate in outpatient clinics, first assist in operating room, radiology exposure, musculoskeletal ultrasound, and sports rehabilitation.
• Develop nonoperative orthopedics practice and clinical skills.
• Support residents in achieving comprehensive educational objectives in orthopedics.
