Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree Required; MS preferred.
• Current NY Physician Assistant Collaborative Practice Agreement required.
• 1 year experience as PA in a clinical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in surgeries as First/Second Assistant on hips and knees.
• Conducts physical exams and assesses health status.
• Orders and interprets tests; prescribes medications; treats illnesses.
• Counsels patients and families on preventative care; patient education.
• Documents care in medical records; maintains department data for research.
