Job summary

St. Luke’s University Health Network seeks an Advanced Practitioner (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join the Orthopedics team. The role supports patient evaluation, treatment and education under physician supervision, with a 60/40 split office to OR and a consistent schedule across regions.

Ideal candidates are board eligible with PA license in PA or NJ; new grads are encouraged to apply. The position offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for teaching and research

Qualifications

• Board eligible Physician Assistant with current license to practice in PA or NJ.
• New grads encouraged to apply.
• Orthopedics experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, treat, counsel patients and families.
• Perform physical exams and update medical histories.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and interpret results.
• Develop and implement patient care and treatment plans.
• Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals for patient needs.
• Provide care via telehealth on the St. Luke's platform as needed.
• Maintain EMR documentation and billing-ready notes.
• Assist surgeon in perioperative care and postoperative evaluations.
