Job summary

U.S. Got People seeks a Physician Assistant for full-time work in the Orthopedic Department at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth in Portsmouth, VA. The role covers musculoskeletal assessments, pre-/post-operative duties, and daily rounds under a supervising physician.

Required: Bachelor's degree from an ARC-PA accredited program, NCCPA certification, and an active PA license in the US. Orthopedic experience preferred; relocation to Portsmouth is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from ARC-PA accredited program.
• Board Certification: NCCPA.
• Current, active PA license in any US state/territory.

Responsibilities

• Provide full Musculoskeletal care including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of ortho-related conditions.
• Assist in pre-, intra-, and post-operative orthopedic procedures as required.
• Manage patient admission, discharge, and daily rounds under supervising physician.
• Review labs, radiology, and other tests; document progress and discharge summaries.
