Job summary

Olympic Medical Center seeks a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our orthopaedic team on Washington’s North Olympic Peninsula. The APC will split time between outpatient orthopaedic clinics, ER consultations, and operating room assistance, collaborating closely with surgeons and podiatric physicians.

Ideal candidates have a PA-C or ARNP license in WA, with appropriate prescriptive authority, and the ability to obtain ongoing CME credits. A call rotation is required with the team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a physician assistant program or nurse practitioner program.
• Current WA RN or ARNP licensure with prescriptive authority, or WA PA-C licensure.
• Maintains required continuing medical education credits.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialty outpatient orthopaedic and sports medicine care in clinic and OR settings.
• Collaborate with orthopaedic surgeons and podiatric physicians on patient care.
• Support ER consultations and participate in operating room assistance.
• Rotate a week of on-call with other orthopaedic APCs.

OMP Orthopaedic APC’s rotate a week of call with other OMP Orthopaedic APC’s.
