Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Follows hospital policy regarding patient safety measures to provide patient care in a safe environment.
• Maintains central lines and prevents surgical site infections per policy.
• Delivers nursing care including administration of medications and patient teaching.
• Performs ongoing assessments to monitor patient status and support clinical decision making.
• Documents patient care activities and quality monitoring items to comply with standards.
• Communicates patient information to physicians and team members to improve outcomes.
• Demonstrates teamwork while delegating appropriately and ensuring accountability.
• Provides education to patients and families to support health care outcomes.
• Engages in continuing education to develop nursing skills.
