The Nurse Practitioner will join a mission-driven, patient-first healthcare organization known for compassionate care, clinical quality, and strong community support. This hospital promotes evidence-based practice, interdisciplinary collaboration, clinician autonomy, and continuous improvement while investing in modern technology, professional education, streamlined clinical workflows, and career advancement. The Advanced Practice Provider will benefit from experienced specialty mentors, collaborative physician relationships, continuing education opportunities, and leadership that values frontline insight and clinician well-being.

Within Orthopedics and orthopedic surgery, the Nurse Practitioner will help care for patients across the musculoskeletal continuum, including preoperative evaluation, postoperative management, follow-up care, patient education, and coordination of rehabilitation services. This growing orthopedic service line offers exposure to surgical and nonsurgical treatment plans, complex cases, and close collaboration with surgeons, rehabilitation specialists, and clinical support teams. Outside the hospital, professionals enjoy a revitalized downtown and strong healthcare and manufacturing job market, creating an appealing combination of career stability and community growth.

Reporting to orthopedic service-line leadership and working closely with orthopedic surgeons, the Advanced Practice Provider will assess patients, develop treatment plans, order and interpret diagnostic studies, support perioperative care, document clinical progress, and promote safe transitions across inpatient and outpatient settings. The Nurse Practitioner will be supported by friendly nurses and a diverse healthcare professional team that may include physicians, physician assistants, physical and occupational therapists, pharmacists, case managers, social workers, and administrative specialists committed to coordinated, high‑quality care.

Living on the coastal plain of South Carolina gives the Nurse Practitioner access to a relaxed lifestyle, warm weather, abundant green space, and easy opportunities for hiking, biking, fishing, boating, golf, and weekend trips to the coast. The region features Southern cuisine, community festivals, concerts, local arts, family-friendly neighborhoods, varied housing options, everyday shopping, healthcare access, and manageable commutes. An Advanced Practice Provider can also appreciate the area’s comparatively accessible cost of living, expanding economy, revitalized downtown districts, nearby colleges, pet-friendly recreation, and convenient regional travel connections.
